Our approach to Health & Safety
Health and safety is a top priority! We are committed to ensuring our employees are safety-minded and experienced. As a Levert employee, you are provided with health and safety policies and procedures, thorough orientation and extensive training to meet or exceed industry standards.
Levert works with training partners like NORCAT (Ontario), Memorial University (Eastern Canada) and Falck Safety Services to ensure our employees receive appropriate specialized training and certifications that employers require, and to maximize everyone’s awareness about the importance of health and safety.
In-house, job site and online safety training includes offerings such as WHMIS 2015, Electrical Safety Awareness, Young Worker Safety Awareness, Lock & Tag Awareness, Asbestos Awareness, Traffic Control Awareness, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Respiratory Protection Awareness, Confined Space Training (Level 1-Entry & Awareness; Level 2-Rescue; Level 3-Planning & Coordination), Ladder Safety Awareness, and Fall Arrest Awareness.
Levert can also provide customized client-specific safety training programs to suit the particular job site. All employees, management and client operations must work within provincial guidelines; we regularly audit and monitor our safety performance.
